On your wedding day, a lot is happening.  There usually ends up being two categories of brides: super stressed or super relaxed.  I was so happy to find that Abbey was the latter option.  When Abbey arrived to the gorgeous venue of Wedgewood in Boulder, she was chill as could be (even though I know she was super excited for everything that day).  I came into the room and she was helping her sister with makeup and you could tell, she just wanted to soak up every moment.  She then got in her dress, with the help of her mom & sisters and we headed down for her dad to see her for the first time.  Here is when the tears began.  Abbey embraced her dad as her mom looked on with tear filled eyes.  After long hugs were done and tears were wiped, we headed down towards the creek for this bride to see her groom.  The moment that Grant saw her, you could tell he was blown away.

This fall afternoon continued perfectly as these two…after many, many, many years together, finally said their I Do’s in front of family and friends (many who traveled from the Midwest…I think that’s why I especially like these two!).  Then the party continued under the gorgeous tent as the sun dipped behind the mountains.

Abbey & Grant, it has been so fun getting to know you.  Abbey, I have loved all of our coffee dates these past months and I look forward to many more in the future!  You are two of the most kind people I have ever met  and your wedding was a reflection of that as you took time to talk to everyone on your special day.  I hope you are enjoying married life as you head up to the mountains for a little getaway!  Congratulations!!
