Boulder Family Photography

Although weddings are my specialty, it’s always so much fun to photograph families.  Especially families that are as sweet as all these great people!  The thing I loved most about this (and especially when you’re photographing small children) is that every photo isn’t going to be “perfect.”  Someone will have their finger up their nose or a little one might just have had enough and won’t stop crying.  Here’s some advice for all you taking family photos this holiday season….embrace it.  Embrace the messiness, the imperfections and be ok with the fact that everything might not go perfectly.  Whatever stage of life you might be in, think of it as capturing the craziness.  When all your kids are grown up and moved out….you’re going to want to remember these moments.
