I sometimes forget that Colorado is very much a destination location for weddings. I was reminded of this when I met Madison & Bobby over Skype as they were planning their wedding from hundreds of miles away. The very first thing I noticed about these two…they love to laugh (so I was all in). I found out they met at a Young Life Training class and from there it’s history.
Their wedding day was beautiful. Not just because we were at the top of the mountain overlooking all of Breckenridge (although that was stunning!), but these two were so intentional on what they wanted their day to be. Madison’s brother married while being surrounded by close family & friends. The most moving part of the whole day came when they were finally married. Madison’s brother explained that the very first thing they wanted to do in their marriage was honor God. So they took communion. Let me tell you…it’s hard to photograph when you’re wiping your eyes every 5 seconds.
Madison & Bobby, when I met you for the first time, I felt like we were good friends already. I felt so lucky to get to capture your intimate mountain wedding. I wish you nothing but overflowing joy and laughter (which I don’t think either of you will have a problem doing) in your marriage!
