There’s something about being up in the mountains and you literally are watching the fog transcend all around you.  It’s magical & romantic…all at the same time.  It’s kind of the perfect setting for an adventurous couple like these two.

Jack & Taylor live up in the mountains of Colorado (they chop their own wood and all…they’re so cool), so we wanted to find a place that was “them.”  When we arrived to the location it was stunning.  I was getting giddy in the car before we even stepped outside.  We were in a valley and fog was literally all around us.  So we started to trek in…and let me tell you, these two are troopers.  Even with Taylor’s adorable Steve Madden boots, she was in snow that was basically up to her knees at times, as we wandered through the towering aspen trees.

I loved getting to spend time with these two.  Hearing how Jack was nervous about proposing to Taylor when he got down on a knee at Hanging Lake.  Or how Taylor totally has her wedding all figured out…she is one organized bride!  I cannot wait to photograph and see everything come together when these two say “I do” in October!
