I have gotten to know Khala through the photography world.  So I was pumped when she asked me to take some photos of her and her husband, Beau, up in Evergreen for Christmas!  It seems that after you get married, getting photos taken usually becomes pretty low on the priority list.  So I was excited when Khala told me she had a red dress all picked out (which she totally rocked) for the session and we scouted out the perfect little aspen grove.

The day went beautifully.  Although the temperature dropped about 15 degrees as we climbed the mountain, we were still above freezing and the sun was slicing through the white trunks of the trees perfectly.  Plus, these two just belong in a magazine…like, seriously.

So just remember…there’s always a good excuse to get dressed up, head to the mountains and take photos….especially in a gorgeous red dress.
