About a week ago it was freezing here in Colorado.  Like single digit cold.  Winter & I were not getting along.  We had scheduled Whitney & Nick’s engagement session awhile ago….I thought for sure we were all going to catch hypothermia during their session.  Oh, but that did not happen.  The week arrived, and I’m convinced Colorado has split personality disorder, because it was beautiful!  Whitney & Nick were all ready to go, so we started in Union Station where Christmas had exploded all around us.  I had emailed Whitney earlier that week to let her know the well decorated tree was up in the train station…her response?  “I love Christmas!”  Plus, she had the perfect “Christmas” dress as I swooned over the green lace design that she totally rocked.

One thing these two reminded me of is how much I love getting to photograph couples when they laugh.  I had absolutely no problem getting these two to belly laugh during our time together.  Really…I didn’t have to even bust out some of my awesome comedy….these two just laughed a lot!

Whitney & Nick, I cannot wait to photograph your wedding along the foothills next year….along with all the craziness & laughter I know will take place!
