I love the opportunity to travel to other states to capture beautiful weddings. Rachel & Joey, who currently live in California, but decided to get married where family still all lived back in Wisconsin was a perfect excuse to hop on a plane. I don’t think I have to explain much from this wedding, as the photos really show the beautiful couple and every detail they chose for their day. From the romantic stone chapel at St. John’s Military Academy to the breathtaking ballroom at the Milwaukee Athletic Club. The day was filled with emotional tears from Rachel’s twin sister (which I love documenting the relationship of siblings on a wedding day!) to the moment Joey saw Rachel for the first time under the overhang of the Delafield Hotel (as it decided to rain for just a bit on their day….but good luck…right!?!)
Rachel & Joey, your day was beautiful (and I feel like that word doesn’t even justify it!). You two are so much fun and adorably cute together (and yes, I continually stalk you all on Instagram as you’ve gotten an adorable new puppy to add to your family 😉 Hope this first year has been sweet!
